The Challenge

The company had invested in a commercially available off-the-shelf (COTS) quality management platform, expecting it to support their operational complexity. It didn’t. Critical workflow functionality was missing, data entry points were incomplete, and entire modules the manufacturer depended on, parts recount, supplier management, compliance checklists, simply didn’t exist in the software.

Without real-time visibility into production processes and no way to customize the COTS solution to fit their specific requirements, the team was forced into workarounds that slowed operations, introduced risk, and left decision-makers without the data they needed to manage quality effectively.

Our Approach

BALANCED+ was engaged to design and build an entirely new suite of software modules tailored to the manufacturer’s exact specifications. Rather than adapting an existing platform, the team started from the ground up, using Microsoft C# and Vue.js to architect a solution that integrated directly with the company’s existing ERP system and mapped to their real production workflows.
