About This Role
BALANCED+ is seeking a highly skilled IT Support Analyst to provide technical support to our clients and help them solve complex IT challenges. You’ll troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, implement solutions to improve system performance and reliability, and work closely with clients to understand their unique IT needs.
This is a great role for a technical professional with 2–4 years of hands-on experience in IT support, Windows Server, SQL databases, virtualization, cybersecurity, and system administration. You’ll use tools like Zabbix for monitoring and Zendesk for ticketing, and you’ll have the opportunity to learn our specialized platforms (Maximizer CRM, SystemX.net) on the job.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical support to clients, troubleshooting and resolving IT issues promptly
- Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, network, and system problems
- Implement solutions to improve the performance and reliability of IT systems
- Configure and manage Windows Server, SQL Server, and virtualization environments (Hyper-V, VMware)
- Perform data backup, recovery, and maintenance tasks using Veeam and similar tools
- Monitor systems and network performance using Zabbix and related monitoring tools
- Manage IT support tickets and client requests using ticketing systems like Zendesk
- Document issues, solutions, and system configurations for future reference
- Work with clients to understand their IT infrastructure and recommend improvements
- Assist with cybersecurity implementation, including phishing simulation and security assessments
Qualifications
- 2–4 years of hands-on experience in IT support, system administration, or network support roles
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server, Active Directory, and Group Policy
- Experience with Microsoft SQL Server and database management
- Hands-on experience with virtualization platforms (VMware, Hyper-V)
- Experience with backup and recovery solutions (Veeam, Datto, or similar)
- Knowledge of cybersecurity concepts and practices (VPN, MFA, EDR, phishing simulation)
- Experience with monitoring and ticketing systems (Zabbix, Zendesk, or similar)
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- College diploma or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field
Nice to Have
- CompTIA A+, Network+, or Security+ certification
- Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator (MCSA) or similar Microsoft certification
- Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS)
- Familiarity with Fortinet products or other security appliances
- Experience with scripting (PowerShell, Bash) for automation
