Sales Account Manager/Project Manager

About This Job
As a Sales Account Manager, you will play a key role in managing client relationships and driving new business opportunities. You will work closely with our sales and marketing teams to understand client needs, provide solutions, and ensure customer satisfaction. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate looking to launch a career in account management and business development.

Responsibilities

  • Manage projects, resources, and client expectations
  • Prepare project budgets and monitor current project costs
  • Develop solid client relationships and seek new opportunities within assigned accounts on an ongoing basis
  • Diligently qualify and develop new business opportunities specializing in IT services and solutions
  • Develop and nurture strong business relationships with decision-makers within client organizations
  • Conduct high-level discovery conversations in target accounts
  • Work closely with other team members to develop and present technical solutions appropriate for the customer’s requirements
  • Act as a first escalation point for customers on various potential issues
  • Consistently demonstrate a high level of teamwork through working cooperatively and effectively with other internal and external stakeholders
  • Update and manage client information and opportunities in the CRM
  • Participate in marketing or lead generation campaigns as required
  • Cooperate with technical teams in writing proposals and RFP responses for potential and current customers

Requirements

  • A self-starter with a track record of successful, credible achievements
  • Experience in project management, sales, and account management (technical solutions)
  • Knowledge and interest in the local IT market and industry are strongly desired
  • Proficient in using CRMs and LinkedIn
  • Excellent verbal and written English communication skills
  • Ability to prepare and deliver presentations to clients
  • Goal-oriented attitude to achieve targets through self-motivation and determination
  • Strong project leadership skills are an asset
  • 1-2 years’ previous experience
  • PMP certification (Project Manager Professional)
  • Knowledge of sales in IT professional services, cybersecurity managed services, and computer networking products is an important asset

Skills and Qualifications

  • Knowledge and familiarity with vendors is preferred, including:
    • Fortinet
    • Tenable
    • ActZero
    • Sophos
    • TrendMicro
    • Microsoft
  • Experience in conducting ad-hoc brainstorming sessions with clients (with SE support)
  • Conceptual knowledge in cybersecurity, including:
    • SIEM
    • ZTNA
    • SASE
    • VPN
    • MFA
    • MDR
    • Phishing simulation
    • Spam filtering
  • Strong project management and time organization skills

  • Travel to/from the client site will be reimbursed (car required)
